Use These Illusory Frequencies To Shift Your Brainwaves On Command, & Rapidly Change How Think, Feel, & Act
Neuron #15: Binaural Beats

What if you could shift your brainwaves on command to change how you think, feel, and perform?
Well, you can.
Although you can use your inner technology—your mind and your physiology (e.g., breathwork, movement)—you can also use external technology to give you a boost.
Enter, binaural beats.
In mysterious fashion, a binaural beat is an illusion created by your brain.
The etymology—root word—of binaural stems from the words "binary" (meaning “two-fold, double, dual”) and aural (meaning “pertaining to the ear).
Here’s how the illusion works.
When you hear two tones—one in each ear—that are slightly different frequencies, your brain creates a singular frequency equal to the difference between the two frequencies.
Example: In your left ear, you hear a frequency of 432 Hz, and in your right ear, you hear a frequency of 436 Hz. Gradually, however, your brain entrains itself to a frequency of 4 Hz (the difference between the right ear 436 Hz and the left ear 432 Hz). *Note: You must listen with headphones to deliver different frequencies into each ear. A speaker will not do the trick.
This is called the “frequency-following effect”.
Your brain activity follows the frequency of the binaural beats, thus entraining your brain activity accordingly.
Why does this matter?
In today’s world of overstimulation and distraction, your brain waves can become too fast and erratic.
Most likely, you spend your day producing high-beta brainwaves, which are often associated with the manic monkey mind. And growing up, we are not taught how to relax and slow down our minds.
So, here's how I use binaural beats almost every day to change my brainwaves, create coherence, and coordinate different brain regions.
Theta binaural beats: during meditation to slow down my mind, access my subconscious and intuition, and reprogram my mind
Alpha binaural beats: during creative tasks such as writing and journaling
Delta binaural beats: before bed or a nap to slow down my brainwaves and prepare me for rest
However, binaural beats are not a magic pill. You have to work with the binaural beats—make an effort to slow down your respiratory rate, heart rate, and your thought patterns.
Once you do, you’ll access more states of relaxation, creativity, presence, and flow.
If you want to design your life, you must first learn how to design your brainwaves—on command.
What binaural beats will you use to design your brainstate?

P.S. In December, I am leading a meditation program to teach people how to shift their brainwaves and heartwaves using meditation, binaural beats, breathwork, and other proven modalities. And we will use technology to measure your progress. Spots are limited, so reply to this email if you want in!
